About me
|
I'm a University of Wisconsin-Madison student and a Boston native, pursuing a B.S. in Genetics. My hobbies include rowing, cooking, and watching ballet.
I was fortunate enough to begin delving into genetics as a research student under Dr. Kwiatkowski, M.D, Ph.D., at Brigham and Women's hospital in 2014 where I performed computational analysis of next-generation sequencing data, with a focus on tuberous sclerosis complex. This inspired my exploration into the genomic and proteomic significance of TSC2 in Genetics 564. Throughout my years at UW-Madison, I have sat through many wonderful classes, but Genetics 564 was definitely the most special, and I would like to give an enormous thanks to my professor, Dr. Ahna Skop, Ph.D. for her mentorship throughout the semester, as well as for creating such an engaging and informative course. I wish that every student was able to take this class because I cannot imagine graduating without ever learning these skills. I will definitely take the lessons from 564 with me throughout my life.
